The Agricultural Credit of the Research, discusses the possible impact of the u.s. elections season is on the us dollar.
“The US the summer of discontent ” could add to the political uncertainty ahead of the November 3, presidential elections, and thus affect the prospects for the dollar across the boardis , from our point of view. In effect, the President, Donald Trump is already lagging behind Senator Joe Biden in a national poll, and all the battleground states, the Democrats may be able to wrestle control of Congress from the GOP,” TICKET notes.
“Our analysis also shows that the USD has been extended to the drags in years where the incumbent president fighting for re-election, and the losses were more pronounced when the incumbent was heading for a defeat. The fears of the market, that such a scenario could materialise, could lead to a resurgence of USD losses in the coming months, and a boost to the USD is full. In our forecasts, we expect the USD to continue the fight against the EUR, and even GBP is in the H220,” TICKET added.
