The consumer and producer price data from the u.k. are due on Wednesday, headlining a day for European economic news.
At 2.00 am ET, the Office for National Statistics is set to release u.k. consumer and producer prices for the month of April. Inflation is expected to be 0.9%, from 1.5% in March.
UK producer prices are expected to fall 0.4% per year after a 0.3% gain a month earlier. At the same time, the economists expect the entry price to the 8.7% decline, after a 2.9% drop in March.
At 3: 00 AND the prices for the production to the Czech Republic, the consumer confidence and You are due. In the united states, producer prices are expected to decrease by 1.1% year on year in April, after rising 0.4% in March.
At 4: 00 in the morning AND the European Central Bank is scheduled to issue euro area current account data for the month of March. The current account surplus totaled seasonally adjusted EUR 40.2 billion in December.
At 5: 00 am, Eurostat publishes the euro zone final consumer prices for the month of April. Inflation is expected to decline by 0.4%, as originally expected, by 0.7% in March.
