China to target Australian wine, seafood, oatmeal, fruit and dairy exports if tensions continue to escalate between the two countries amid calls for an investigation into the origin of the coronavirus people close to the case.
Adding that the Chinese authorities have compiled a list of potential goods to target by implementing stricter quality controls, probes or anti-dumping tariffs, or even using the use of state media to encourage consumer boycott of Australian products.
That said, the report notes that a final decision has not been made and that further action will be taken. depend on how Australia responds to China’s objections for the time being.
